PRINCIPAL MESSAGE
- Malan’s Peak School is proud to serve the Youth in Care Students in the Ogden School District. Within Malan’s Peak School we have many programs serving the YIC student. There are currently two locations for Malan’s Peak (Mill Creek and Weber Valley Detention). For the 2018-19 school year, Mill Creek will be starting a new apprenticeship program through and in conjunction with the Ogden Weber Technical College. The program will be for our graduates but may have some of our students who are close to graduation as well.
- The Weber Valley Detention location just opened in the late spring-early summer. This location is where we house the Detention, Day Skills Invention, Archway, BCI, and ALTA programs for all Youth in Care students within the Ogden School District. We also provide our Youth in Care students that are attending the traditional schools in the Ogden School District with a Check and Connect Mentor. We currently have 4 mentors serving students are excited about the new programs and for the new school year.
